Overview

MySnapFoodLog is UNLV collaboration between Nursing, Nutrition Science, and Engineer to better understand how people eat. The App was developed for the study "Food App for Tracking and Identifying Dietary Biculturalism in Filipinos in Southern Nevada."

The purpose of the current study is to determine the eating patterns for people who are at risk for high blood pressure. The study will test the effectiveness of the app in determining what is considered healthy and unhealthy American and Filipino foods.

Installation Instructions

Currently, the App is not available in the Google Play Marketplace and instead must be manually installed on a compatible Android device.

Android Requirements

  • Tested with Android API level 24+ (Android 7.0: Nougat and above)

Installation from Android Device

  1. Open Chrome and download MySnapFoodLog to your computer.
  2. After download completes, open Downloads and tap on APK file to begin installation. If prompted, tap Yes to allow install from external source.
  3. App will install.
